Captive Buffalo picture
The Buffalo or Bison formerly undertook annual migrations of 200 miles or more between winter and summer ranges. The American Bison is a vegetarian, feeding on grasses, forbs and sometimes berries. Buffalo herd in groups of 4-20 except during mating season when herds combine.
